Obituary for Donna Mae Lindner
Donna Mae Lindner, age 89, a resident of Sugar Camp, WI, passed away on Thursday May 17, 2018 at the Serenity House in Tomah, WI. Donna was born on March 28, 1929 in Rhinelander, WI to Joseph Gregory McElrone and Louise McElrone (NEE Jarvis). She married John “Jack” A. Lindner, Sr. on October 25, 1942. They moved to Sugar Camp in 1958. Residing there on Mill Lake. They were member of St. Kunegunda Parish and were active in serving the community. Raising seven children and a foster child, Tim, was a full time job. Once the children were raised, Donna worked as the secretary at the Sugar Camp Elementary School, retiring in 1996. Donna and Jack enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, and summers on Mill Lake. She was extremely fond of crafting, playing cards, and later in life frequent trips to the nail salon. Donna lost her husband of 52 years, Jack and continued to reside in Sugar Camp until the long winters precipitated a move to Tomah, WI to live with her daughter, Gina and her husband Marc. They put her closer to a favored sister-in-law and niece. Norma and Sue McElrone kept an eye on her and visited her frequently. She is survived by her children: John A. (Terri) Lindner, Jr. of Rhinelander, WI, James A. Lindner of New Hampshire, Richard J. (Jacki) Lindner of Sartell, MN, Gina M. (Marcus) L’Herault of Tomah, WI, Cindy L. (John) Regozzi of Phelps, WI, Robert J. (Diane) Lindner of Livingston, MT, Laurie A. (Scott) Craig of Sugar Camp, WI; 31 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at the St. Kunegunda Catholic Church in Sugar Camp, WI. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the church.
