Billy Harold Orr, Jr., 61, of Shawnee passed away at his home on May 23, 2018, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Billy Jr. was born July 3,1956 at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, the third child and much awaited son to Billy Harold Orr, retired MSgt, and Maxine Louise Orr.
Billy graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1974. He served four years in the Army at Ft. Sill and retired from Civil Service at Tinker AFB in 2012 where he was an aircraft mechanic. He loved going to the lake with family and friends, four wheeling, and motorcycle riding.
Billy is survived by his daughter Shannon Ford and her husband Chris Ford of Shawnee; daughter, Dawn Orr of Newalla; son, Eric Orr of Choctaw; step-daughters, Sheri Gay and Jenny Layne; granddaughters, Abby Ford, Krissy Ford and Cali Orr; several step-grandchildren; sisters, Pamela Linsenmeyer and husband Wayne of Durango CO, Della Jane Orr of Spencer and Debra Croft and husband Dave of Oklahoma City; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family has decided that no services will be held. Instead, the family will conduct a Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 12:00pm-2:00pm, at Lake Thunderbird, Hog Creek Pavilion near Zoom Beach.
