Obituary for Mrs. Linda Jean Moss
Mrs. Linda Jean Moss, age 68, of Hiram, GA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Wellstar Paulding Hospital.
Mrs. Moss was born on January 26, 1950, in Dallas, GA, to parents, the late Mr. Henry Wallace Hurley and Mrs. Ludie Mae McGinnis. She was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time with her family. In her spare time, Mrs. Moss enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and loved animals. She was extremely outgoing and known for her great sense of humor; Mrs. Moss will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Moss is survived by her beloved husband, J.W. “Jake” Crowder; children, Linda Dean, Daphne Moss, Michelle Butler, Cindy Taylor, Jason Crowder and James Crowder; brother, Harold Hurley; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two on the way. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence William Moss and several siblings.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 4:00 PM, in the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow at the Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, GA.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 26, 2018, from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
