Parker City - Jerry DeWayne Daniel Sr., 79, of Parker City, passed away Tuesday evening, May 22, 2018 at his home. He was born May 15, 1939 in Sulphur Springs, IN and was the son of the late Willie B. & Eva Mae (Kinnet) Daniel.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved being with his family especially his grandchildren. Jerry loved to talk and visit with family and friends. He was the owner-operator of JC Battery and Lube in Parker City for 20 years. Jerry loved his dogs especially "Lily".
Jerry is survived by his four sons John Daniel (Sherri), Jerry Jr. (Donna) Daniel ,Brian "Scott" (Cindy) Daniel and Kimber Vance; his three daughters Dawn Renee Kessler (Allen), Betty Neeley (Richard), and Tina Wilson (Jim); sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; two brothers Tony "Eddie" Daniel (Donna) and Cleston Daniel (Edna); and a sister Marie Wright (Marion). In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years Clara Daniel; a daughter Pam Foy; a son Ronnie Daniel; and a grandson Kerry Foy.
Funeral Services for Jerry will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
