Sheri Hunt, 70, of Lafayette, moved on to her new residence with her precious savior on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 8:40 p.m. She was surrounded by her family with prayer and song. Sheri was born on October 21, 1947 in Ft. Wayne to the late Dale E. and Kathryn M. (Szink) Cutter. She attended Elmhurst High School in Ft. Wayne, and went on to earn her Associates Degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech. She worked as a bookkeeper for WSAL Radio in Logansport, Roeing Corp., and Cass County Children's Hospital. Sheri was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden. Her true passion was learning and loving the word of God, and sharing it with all in her world, through prayer, fellowship, and encouragement. She was an avid learner, reader, and enjoyed needle work. She loved kayaking, her family, church, being a Sunday school teacher, and was able to fulfill her dream of going on a mission trip to India. She also loved Indiana and U.S. History.

Surviving are three children, Julie (Jonathan) Cage of St. Louis, MO, Victoria Kleckner of Lafayette, and Kim (Phil) Ladd of Lafayette. Also surviving are three siblings, Steve (Cindy) Cutter of Ft. Wayne, Dennis Cutter of Ft. Wayne, Denise Cutter of Indianapolis, two grandchildren, Megan Baer of Lafayette, Katie (Ben) Spitler of Logansport, and four great grandchildren, RyLiegh Spitler, Rory Spitler, Benny Spitler, and Caleb Harrold

She is preceded in death by her former husband, Bill Hunt.
