Lucille M. Gardner, 84, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 20, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.
She was born Dec. 10, 1923, in Pattonsburg, Mo., daughter of John and Stella Frazier Sly. She married Eugene R. Gardner on Nov. 22,1941, in Bethany, Mo. He died Dec. 18, 2007.
Survived by: two sons; two daughters; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister.
Preceded in death by: a son, Eugene R. Jr.; two brothers, Clyde D. and John Sly; two sisters, Nancy and Ruth Sly; and two grandchildren, Douglas and Thomas Darrah.
There will be no services. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Garden View Chapel.
