Donald R. "Don" Hager, age 50, of Lake Marian/Carpentersville passed away on Sunday morning, May 20, 2018 at Glenlake Terrace Nursing & Rehab Center in Waukegan. He was born in Elgin on June 1, 1967 and was the son of Robert W. & Louise H. Hager. On April 6, 1991 he married Sandra J. Schroeder. Don was a lifelong resident of the area, a 1985 graduate of Irving Crown High School and a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Dundee. Survivors include his beloved wife of 27 years; Sandy. Their son; Jason (Candace) Hager and three grandchildren; Mackenzie, Liam and Hannah. Other survivors include his father; Robert W. Hager, his siblings; Patricia, Robert, Michael, and Vincent (Trich) Hager, Mary (David) Eastridge, Kathleen Burgess, and Louise (Joe) Cina, his in-laws; Kenneth "Pinky" & Irma Schroeder, the Schroeder clan in-laws, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; Louise Hager.
At Don’s Request he was cremated. Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, East Dundee with Rev. Phillip Baerwolf, officiating. Don’s family will be receiving friends at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
