Services for Paul Eleanor Hogan Robertson will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Kings Highway Christian Church. Officiating will be Dr. David Brice, Senior Pastor of Kings Highway Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m. preceding the Service in the church parlor.

Paul passed away on May 21, 2018 at the age of 90. She spent most of her life in Shreveport after spending her childhood in McComb MS, Kentwood LA, Baton Rouge LA, Ruston LA and Sylacauga AL.

Paul was born on December 30, 1927 to Thomas Paul Hogan and Naomi Eleanor Belanger Hogan in Kentwood LA. Graduating in 1941 from Baton Rouge Junior High and in 1944 from Sylacauga High School in Sylacauga AL. She obtained her B.S. in Business Administration in 1948 from Louisiana Tech University where she was a Phi Mu, a Tech Beauty, and the first PIKE Dream Girl.

She married the love of her life, Bill Robertson, on August 18, 1947 at Kings Highway Christian Church. After 69 years of marriage Bill passed away in 2017. She told him she would not be long.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, William A. Hogan, many cherished friends, and most of all her beloved Bill.

She was an active member of Kings Highway serving in many capacities. She was the first woman Chairman of the Board and 2nd woman on the Board of Elders. She served as President of the women group and on the Membership committee. An avid Traveler, she toured Europe, Tanzania, Central America, and most of the United States. She would have sailed the Seven Seas if she had been able.

Mother, Ma and Memaw (only to Phillip), Seamstress, Artist, Musician, Camper, Bridge Player, Book Club Attender, and Girl Scout Leader – she was a woman of many talents and interests.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marsha Louise Robertson Duncan and her husband, John; son, William Scott Robertson and his wife Susan; her grandchildren Allison Louise Duncan Bushnell, William Cross Duncan and his wife Mandy, and Hunter Phillip Robertson and his wife Megan; her great-grandchildren, Annie Louise Bushnell, John Martin Bushnell, Eva Jordan Duncan, Aaron Joel Duncan, Sean William Robertson, Margery Jill Robertson, and Amelia Rose Robertson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews of whom she was very proud and loved very much. The Hogan’s: Tommy, Jane Anne, Mike, and Patricia. The Robertson’s: John, Janey, Julie, Marty, Lee, James, Rose, David, and Lisa.
