He was born in Clay County, a son of the late Virgil and Belvia
Arnold Sears. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Crest Manor
Homes of Martinsburg.
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte A. King Sears; five daughters,
Teresa Sears, Belvia Koppisch and Shannon Sears, all of Martinsburg,
Kimberly Sidwell of Philippi and Paula Hosey of Grantsville; one son,
Jeffery Ronal Sears of Martinsburg; three sisters, Wavajean
DeLaGrange of Diamond, Ohio, Virginia Metheney of Newton Falls, Ohio,
and Janet Mollohan of Barberton, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Fay Kalamjka.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Burial was in
King Cemetery, Nicut.
