Deborah Stone of Pepperell formerly of Westford passed away on Saturday, May 19 at Fitchburg Heath Care following an 18-month battle with Appendix Cancer. She was 67.

Born in Lowell on March 7, 1951 she was the daughter of the late William F. and Charlotte L. (Fletcher) Stone. She graduated from Westford Academy in 1969.

Ms. Stone is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Shaw McLaughlin and Michael Carr of Pepperell, MA; her son and his spouse, Jeffrey and Jennifer Shaw of Henniker, NH; her sister, Barbara Upperman of Westford, MA; her brother William Stone of Ayer, MA (previously of Westford, MA); her grandchildren Garrett McLaughlin, Benjamin Shaw, Jonathan Shaw, Cassie Shaw, Jennifer Shaw, Michael Shaw and Thomas Shaw; and three great-grandchildren Kamerin, Jaina and Tomen.

A celebration of Deborah's life will be announced at a later date.
