Barbara was born in Hartford, CT on February 5, 1933 to the late Blanche (Dombrowski) and Stephen Koropatkin. Barbara resided in South Windsor, CT for 36 years. Barbara worked for several restaurants in South Windsor for about 20 years. She also worked at several Caron automotive family businesses in East Hartford for another 20 years.
Barbara and Richard retired to Fort Pierce, Florida where she lived for 26 years. She was an exceptional friend to many at Spanish Lakes Country Club.
She was an avid card player and rarely missed a game.
Barbara is survived by her son Richard S. and his wife Jean Horn Caron of Old Saybrook, CT; her son David and his wife Kimberly Holland Caron of Westerly, RI; her daughter Cindy and her husband Gary Mulvey of Newington, CT and her son Robert Caron of South Windsor, CT; her grandchildren, David Caron Jr., Lindsey Caron Willard and her husband Andrew Willard, Melissa Mulvey and Michael Caron. S
he is also survived by 5 nieces and 5 nephews; 3 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Joan Celani
. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
