Hammer and her husband Jeffery Hammer. Her son John P. McBride and his husband Samuel A. Jovel. Her son Thomas A. Gray and wife Rhonda Gray. Her sister Vernice Stonesifer and husband Gary Stonesifer. Her sisters Neita Verrett and Bertha Barry. Her grandchildren Joshua Edwards, Candace Nieto and husband Luis Nieto, David Gray and wife Nicole Gray, Amy Edwards, Kassi Elmore and her husband Noah Elmore, Donna Rossino, and her wife Katie Rossino, Ed Rossino, and Taylor Gray.
Bernice Gray was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. And she will be missed by everyone. Bernice Gray had many other relatives and friends that will miss her and think of her fondly. Bernice’s favorite color was purple, and she loved butterflies. She loved to cook and loved to eat. Bernice Gray liked music, dancing, and rodeos. Bernice Gray worked for Foley’s as a Retail Sales Associate until her retirement.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm., Wednesday, May 23, at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery in the Chapel of Chimes Mausoleum; 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, Texas.
