Henry Harrison enlisted at age 20 on June 15, 1861, at Wake County, N.C., to serve his State in the War between the States. His service was with the 4th Inf. Reg. N. C., Company G. He was wounded at Seven Pines, VA on May 31, 1862.
Harrison married Nancy Williams on September 4, 1862, and six children were born to this union. Nancy died in 1877. Harrison married Nancy Foster on January 31, 1884, and they had one child.
