Sherry Walters Ford passed away on May 21, 2018. She owned and operated an antique mall for 32 years and owned a farm in North Simpson County. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Ford, father, Karl Walters, and brother Dale Walters. She is survived by her mother Virginia Bean Walters of Franklin, KY and a sister and brother-in-law, Janet Walters Penner and Randy Penner of Crestwood, KY. In addition, she is survived by two children, Cindy Ford Burk and husband Paxx Burk, Chad Ford and wife Laura Thomas Ford all of Franklin. Sherry has five granddaughters: Morgan and Meredith Burk, Kate, Shelby, and Allie Ford. She has survived by four nieces and nephews: Laura Penner Broyles, Aaron Penner, Megan Penner Boser, and Clint Walters.
Visitation will be from 2-6 pm Wednesday at JC Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, and 9-12 am on Thursday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin on Thursday at 1 pm.
