Graveside services for Frankie Lee “Frank” Williams, 67, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the West Lawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Rev. David Gray will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams died Monday, May 21, 2018 at his home. He was born April 10, 1951 in Henryetta to Vester and Elmurial Napier Williams. He graduated from Henryetta High School, and came to this area in 2006 from Springfield, MO.
He married Dr. Paige Williams in 2007 in Ada. Mr. Williams received his Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science in 1992, and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration in 1998, from the University of Central Oklahoma. He taught Computer Systems Technology at OSU-Okmulgee from 1996 to 2002, and was the Program Chairperson from 1997-1998, and 1999-2001. He was the MIS Coordinator for Missouri State University from 2002-2006, and then Director of Information Technology for East Central University from 2006-2013. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, Ada Regional United Way Board of Directors, Chairperson for the Council of Information Technology, Oklahoma State Regents, and the Chairperson of the Educational Advisory Committee for the Business Dept. at OSU-Okmulgee. Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1972.
Survivors include his wife, Dr. Paige Williams of the home; three daughters, Heather Humble and husband Corbin of Bethany, Cassidy Williaims, and Melody Williams, both of Oklahoma City; a son, Gavin Williams of Oklahoma City; a granddaughter, Tru Humble of Bethany; his mother, Elmurial Napier of Okmulgee; two sisters, Carla Hammer and husband John of Claremore, and Ceres Brock of Okmulgee; one brother Vester Joe Williams of Canyon, Tx; a nephew, Joe Williams and wife Laura of Okmulgee; nieces and nephews, Carl Owen, Margery Owen, Nathan Jones, Jacob Williams, Matthew Hammer, John Hammer II, Sarah Summers, Jeremiah Summers, Deborah Brock, Rebekah Brock, and Rachel Brock.
