Russell Stuart Price, 89, of Decatur, IL died May 18, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Russell was born November 22, 1928 in Decatur, IL, the son of, Ross D. and Opal (St. John) Price. He married Yyonna Kruger, October 6, 1957 in Stewardson, IL

Russell was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War. He was also an electronics technician serving with Illinois Bell retiring after 35 years of service.

While he was 16 years old, Russell gained his pilot's license. He loved flying and worked as a crop duster for Decatur Aviation. He was also a flight instructor and glider pilot. He later became a member of the Aero Commanders RC Club.

Surviving are his wife, Yyonna; and two children, Jeff Stuart of Decatur, IL and Susan Kay Price of Decatur, IL.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and step mother, Flossie and step father, Kent Wild.

Funeral services are 10 AM Friday, May 25, 2018 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Stewardson Cemetery, Stewardson, IL.
