Carol Louise Ford Lambert lifelong resident of McCrory, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from the Unity Health – Harris Medical Center of Newport at the age of 71. She was born in McCrory, Arkansas on May 7, 1947 the daughter of the late Carl and Eloise Davis Ford.

Ms. Lambert was a McCrory High School graduate where she enjoyed cheerleading and had also won the Miss McCrory Beauty Pageant. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and with being a member of Good Hope Baptist Church she would bring many dishes to all the church functions. She was employed for many years in the X-Ray and Lab Departments of the Woodruff County Hospital of McCrory and Cross Ridge Hospital of Wynne. Ms. Lambert later was owner and operator for Tastee Freeze of McCrory and also employed through Sloan Valve of Augusta. Everyone enjoyed being around her with the sense of humor she had from the many stories she would love to tell, always laughing, singing and dancing. When able she loved being outdoors, planting and working her gardens with many different kinds of flowers.

Ms. Lambert is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Eloise Ford and one brother, Forrest Ford. She is survived by one daughter, Carla Holder and husband Byron of McCrory, Arkansas, one son, Garland Lambert and wife Wendy of South Carolina, one brother, Phillip Ford and wife Terry of Kensett, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Garrett Browning of McCrory, Arkansas, Kendall Montgomery and husband Robbie of Bono, Arkansas, Morgan Hicks of McCrory, Arkansas, Kylee Hicks of McCrory, Arkansas and a very special lifelong partner and her best friend, Keneth Plummer of McCrory, Arkansas.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Elmer Atchison, Garrett Browning, Byron Holder, Robbie Montgomery, K. C. Plummer and Keith Plummer.
