Lawson "Joe" Hale, 65, of Amelia, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018. He was born October 10, 1952 in Cincinnati, son of the late Roy and Eileen Martin Hale. He was married to Linda Russell Hale, who survives.
Joe had his own roofing company for over 20 years, followed by 20 years at Mueller Roofing where he was the Director of Information Technology. His main goal in life was taking care of others and he went above and beyond doing it. Some of his last words were words of love and encouragement for his loved ones, nothing about himself. He enjoyed his children and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He was married to the love of his life, Linda, for 46 years where they enjoyed several trips and cruises. Joe was a hard worker; lazy was never a word you could use to describe him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Christopher David (Sam) Hale, Shannon Lynn Hale, Amber Marie (Myke) Hale; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Judy) Hale, Michael (Janet) Hale; sisters, Diana Lane, Elizabeth Hale, Mary Rohn and several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
