Grace Inabinette Walker was born in Charleston, SC to Harry O'Neal and Olive Myrtle Inabinette. She graduated from St. Paul's High School in Hollywood, SC and received her nursing degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She worked as a registered nurse at various places and spent the last years of her career as a nurse at MUSC. She loved nursing and felt so fortunate to have a career where she could help others. She had an infectious spirit about her and a contagious joy for life. When you were in her presence she made you feel loved and lifted up. She was quick-witted and so much fun to be around. She would extend kindness to various people that were in her path of life. She had a deep affection for those she held close and was always thinking of others and their needs. She loved her husband, daughters and grandchildren like no other. She always enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was taking them to the water park, spending time at the river, or any activity that included them. Being with family was one of her favorite things to do. As she grew in her faith she developed a closer relationship with God. She always felt that Jesus had her in the palm of his hand. He let her know "I am with you my child. I love you and you love me." She was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Daughters of the Confederacy, The Garden Club of Charleston, and was also involved with numerous bridge clubs in the area. She had a deep love for animals and great respect for the men and women that have served this country. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Robert J. (Bob) Walker, her 2 daughters and her 5 grandchildren. We would like to thank the medical staff of Roper-St. Francis Hospital for the excellent and compassionate care she received while she was there. We would especially like to thank Dr. Hawk and Dr. Spandorfer for taking the time with the family to help us through this process. We are all saddened by this loss and pray for God's comfort during this time.
