He was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church and served honorably in the Army National Guard. He loved volunteering at the Hampton VA Hospital, Sarah Bonwell and First Robotics. He also enjoyed going on Mission Trips, teaching youth groups and helping the elderly. He will be deeply missed, but is now rejoicing with Jesus.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Lois Hedrick; and his brother, Bobby Hedrick. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Gertrude; his daughter, Paula; and grandson, Paul.
