Funeral service for David Carl Hutson, age 55 of Odessa, TX, was held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at First Assembly of God Church in Saint Jo. The service was officiated by Rev. Charles Reed and Rev. C.E. Russell. Burial followed in Mountain Creek Cemetery outside of Saint Jo. Services were under the direction of Scott Funeral Home in Saint Jo. Mr. Hutson died Friday, July 1, 2016.
David was born June 10, 1961 in Nocona, Texas to Elgie and Connie Mae (Copley) Hutson. He worked for Baker Hughes and graduated from NCTC with an Associates degree in Computer Tech. David was studying to be an engineer.
David is survived by: his daughter, Nakisha Hutson Ice of Saint Jo, TX; sister, Paula Hutson of Victoria, TX; brother, Charles and wife, Janis Reed of Nocona, TX; grandson, Gage Ice of Saint Jo, TX; niece, Jennifer Reed Roby of Benbrook, TX; and nephews: Kyle Rojas of Victoria, TX and Brandon Reed of Fort Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elgie and Connie Mae (Copley) Hutson.
Family members served as pallbearers.
