Elizabeth Hill was born, Sarah Ann HIll, daughter of John James Monk Hill and Martha Tatem.

When she marries William Wilcox on 14th April 1884 she adds the name Elizabeth, she was born in Darley Abbey, Derbyshire, and had a half sibling Charles, a brother Isaac who died aged 3, and a sister Mary, she had 7 children, one being my great grandmother Amy Hazeldine nee Wilcox, and left for a better life with her husband and children, Amy (the eldest) was married and stayed in England with her own family, Never to see her mother again, just letters written to everyone, William went first with the Lace machines and Elizabeth went later with all the children except Florence Evelyn Wilcox, who married Thomas Wheatley Fowkes in Beeston Nottingham, they had a child Reginald, born in Beeston, and the they also moved over to America, Some family did come over to stay with my Nana, The Ringues and the Brock family members.
