Donald I. Rush, 74, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away May 6, 2018. Don was born October 26, 1943 in Baxley, Georgia. He worked with the railroad while living in Brunswick, Georgia and later with Barnett Bank in Jacksonville, Florida in the printing department.
Don is survived by his brothers: James (Carol) Rush, Larry (Ann) Rush; sister Cynthia (Eddie) Mercer; aunts Linda Altman and Fan Lee Sellers; and a daughter Amber. He is also survived by his grandson Jared Johnson, as well as several nephews. Don was predeceased by his wife Rhoda L. Rush and their daughter Samantha M. Johnson; his father Virgil Morgan, mother Welda S. Rush, and stepfather Denton O. Rush.
We would like to thank the staff at Woodland Grove for their kindness and care of our brother during his brief time with them.
May our brother now rest in peace and be free of the turmoil that followed him throughout his life.
