Funeral services for Mr. Aubrey Joseph Reynolds will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 in Hixson Brothers Chapel with Brother Arlie Reilly officiating. Interment will be at Cole Cemetery, Woodson Landing in Deville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Reynolds, 69, of Hessmer, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barnie Reynolds and Martha Cole Reynolds; six brothers, L.C. Reynolds, Amos Reynolds, Leamon Reynolds, William "Elbert" Reynolds, Wilbert Reynolds Willard Reynolds; three sisters, Minnie McKinley, Berta Mae Littleton, Alice Marie Reynolds; one grandchild, Chad Reynolds and one great grandchild, Zoey Gills.

Mr. Reynolds served as a Correctional Officer for Avoyelles Correctional Facility and was also a tool pusher for Diamond M Offshore Drilling Co. During his free time, Mr. Reynolds also loved to commercial fish.

Those left to cherish his memory include wife of 24 years, JoAnn Dauzat of Hessmer; three sons, Davis Reynolds (Lisa) of AZ, Daryl Reynolds (Rebecca) of AZ, Charles Steele of Hessmer; two daughters, Jennifer Lambert (Steve) of AZ, Ashley St. Romain (Rodney, Jr). of Marksville; two brothers, Austin Ray Reynolds of Deville, Willie Joe Reynolds (Vicky) of Denham Springs; two sisters, Joyce Ray Ebey of Deville, Jerry Lucas (Donnie) of Deville; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wed, May 9, from 5 p.m. until funeral service time.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Charles Steele, D.J. Jowers, Joseph Reynolds, Rodney St. Romain, Jr., Dakota Reynolds and E.J. Fruge.
