C. Sue Harness, 77, of Batesville, IN passed away peacefully on May 16, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born to Russell and Susan (nee Moore) Storm in Cincinnati, Ohio. On December 01,1940 Sue married Wayne Harness at Carthage Christian Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Together they raised two children; Timothy (Christa) Harness and Jennifer (Mario) Lawson-Bonilla.
Sue worked for Northwest School District for 13 years a teachers assistant in special education classes. Her family was the center of her life. Spending time with them crafting, creating, or spending time out doors. Vacations were spent bird watching, mushroom hunting, or enjoying the redwoods.
Sue is survived by her husband of 55 years, S. Wayne Harness, her children, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and brother Jack Storm. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings; Evelyn, Earl, Sonny, Lillian and a sister in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 12PM until the funeral services begin at 2PM, at the Spring Grove Funeral Home (11285 Princeton Pike, 45246). Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations can be left to The Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati.
