Sarah Diana Parks, 81, of Bethel, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She was born May 19, 1937 in Oneida, KY, daughter of the late Shelby and Mary Francis Davidson Burns. She was married to Charles Parks, who survives, for 63 years.

Diana loved being outdoors and tending to her flowers and garden. She enjoyed bird watching as well as watching any other forms of “critters”. She took great pride in entertaining family, cooking, baking and loved her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Randy (Melanie) Parks, Vicky (Jim) Hicks and Pam Patrick; grandchildren, Brandon (Esther) Parks, Jodi Parks, Trisha (Kris) Taggett and Tina (Mike McMullen) Hicks; great-grandchildren, Elise, Juniper, Silas and Gideon Parks, Kaycee Taggett and Gabe Boatright, and her brother, Narmus Burns.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lonzie Smith and her husband Harold; son-in-law, Mike Patrick and her sister-in-law, Ruby Burns.

Family and friends may visit from 12:00 noon, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 25, 2018 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 315 W. Plane St., Bethel. Interment will follow at Tate Township Cemetery, Bethel.
