The entire Trowbridge family mourns the loss of Paul Leslie Trowbridge, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle, who passed away on Friday, May 18 after a brief illness.
Born October 6, 1955 in El Paso, Texas, Paul was a devoted family man whose sudden death has shocked and saddened us all. With his passing, he is now reunited in heaven with his father Edgar, mother Mary Ellen, brother John and infant daughter Jamie Lynn.
A quintessential family man who was treasured by all, when you met Paul, you became a life-long friend, drawn close by his warmth and humor.
"Papa" stood tall and strong for his five grandchildren (Brittany, Dylan, Elyza, Ethan and Aydan), as well as his three cherished children (Jason, Leslie and Taylor). He met the love of his life, Karen Mills Trowbridge, when they both worked at the Franklin Park Mall, she at Hudson's Department Store and he at Kinney Shoes.
Together, they built a life and family in NW Ohio over the past 43 years, while he continued working in the retail and automotive industries. His presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
Paul is also survived by his mom Mary Lou Trowbridge (Florida), son-in-law Will (Bucyrus), daughter-in-law Diana (North Carolina), brother Mark (Florida) and sister Tracy (Florida), as well as countless friends and extended family members.
Services and visitation will be held at Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, in Holland, Ohio on Wednesday, May 23 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Hospice of NW Ohio.
