Johnny L. Chambers, 67, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, March 19, 2018, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, March 22, 2018, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. Interment will follow at 4 PM in Old Smyrna Cemetery in Uvalda.

Mr. Chambers was born September 1, 1950, in Bradenton, Florida, to the late Robert Levi & Annie Lois Soles Chambers. Mr. Chambers was a truck driver and served his country honorably in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his children: Robert & Jennifer Chambers of Fitzgerald, Kelly Brady of Fitzgerald and Stephanie Davis of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Breanna Davis, Haylee Davis, Scottie Lee Brady, John Michael Brady, Bo Daniel Brady, Pamela Chambers, Griffin Chambers, Katelyn Chambers and Emily Chambers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis "Bill" Chambers and two sisters, Gloria Jones and Shirley Ann Chambers.
