Jerry was born in Wisconsin on Dec. 11, 1941, in Prairie du Chien, the son of Daniel Harley and Louise Bernice (Tindell) Quinn. He retired from Roth Pump after 40 years of service. On Jan. 20, 2015, in Aledo, he married his longtime companion, Charlene Long. From going to car shows and working on car restorations to annually attending the World Series of Drag Racing, it was easy to say Jerry was a car enthusiast. His prize possession was his 1965 Malibu Chevelle. He also liked to camp, fish and boat.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Charlene Quinn of East Moline; children, Jodi (Steve) Palmer, of Reynolds, and Tony (Heather) Scranton, of Proctor, Okla.; grandchildren, Cassondra Streitmatter, Amber (Dusty) McKeag, Haylea Scranton and Jordan Scranton; and great-grandchildren, Rayann Streitmatter, Connor McKeag and Kylee McKeag.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
