Rebecca Potter, 56, of New Concord, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 6, 2017, at her home.
She was born July 23, 1960, in Calloway County, Kentucky.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Missionary Church, where she taught the elementary class on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lynn and Lucy Ferguson and Ott and Vannie Hurt; a brother-in-law, David Potter; and aunts Eva and Neva.
Mrs. Potter is survived by her husband, Michael George Potter of New Concord, whom she married May 27, 1992, in Calloway County, Kentucky; two sons, Michael Paul Potter and wife Michelle and Dakota Blue Potter and wife Jennifer, all of New Concord; her parents, Vernon Gregory Ferguson and Frankie Lee Hurt Ferguson of New Concord; her father and mother-in-law, Jim and JoAnn Potter of New Concord; two sisters, Joyce Gamble of New Concord and Debbie McCuiston and husband Darren of Murray; a sister-in-law, Cari Elkins and husband Phillip of Murray; her brother, Joey Ferguson of New Concord; two grandchildren, Whitney and Kaitlyn Potter, both of New Concord; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
No public service will be held.
