She was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Monteagle. Mrs. Taylor was a Boy Scout leader and Scout master in Estill Springs for many years. She loved the outdoors, camping, collecting frogs and was an avid reader.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Fowler. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, James "J.D." Taylor of Estill Springs; children, Elizabeth Taylor and her husband, Debron of Winchester, Curt Fagan and his wife, Katy of Winchester, Ronald Taylor of Boca Raton, Florida, Charles "C.D." Taylor of Estill Springs and Andrew Taylor of Estill Springs; grandchildren, David Ireland of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Anthony Ireland of Decherd and Carly and Mason Fagan; brothers, Pete Fowler of Sewanee, Tony Fowler of Winchester and Michael Fowler and his wife, Angela of Sewanee; sister, Carol Huddleston of Winchester Springs; cousin, Betty Anderson; of Valdosta, Georgia; special friend, Mary Ann Short of Sewanee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Taylor will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services in Estill Springs.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Pastor Kenny Green officiating.
