Ms. Dana Marie Adams Willis, 60, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday morning, May 20, 2018, at Universal Health Care in King. Ms. Willis was born January 25, 1958, in Surry County, to Lucille Puckett Adams Riggans and the late Edwin “Bud” Adams. Dana worked at Cross Creek Apparel for several years and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kendra and Brandon Edwards of Lambsburg, VA; two grandchildren, Haley Edwards and Aiden Edwards, both of Lambsburg, VA; her mother, Lucille Puckett Adams Riggans of Mount Airy; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Sunshine Adams of Ararat; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Don Decker of Murphy; three half-sisters; two half-brothers; and other relatives and extended family. In addition to her father, Ms. Willis was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Karen Adams Duncan; and a stepfather, Lacy Odell Riggans. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Jimmy McCraw and the Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
