He was employed by John Garner Meat Packing Co., a member of Jesus Name Pentecostal Church in Fort Smith, and the widower of Pearl Sharp.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Ocker Memorail Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren.
He is survived by a daughter, Debi Rushing of Arkoma, OK, two sons,, John Sharp of Siloam Springs and Steve Sharp of Malvern, three sisters, Lois Self of Arkoma, Helen Seaton of Fort Smith and Viola Belcher of Van Buren, a brother, Pete Sharp of Mountainburg, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Brian, Johnny and Michael Belcher, Leslie and Dennis Adams and Curtis Duncan.
The family will visit with friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
