NEWTON - Mrs. Mary Alma Davis, 89, died Friday at Jones County Community Hospital, Laurel. Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Baptist Church. Interment: Liberty Cemetery.
Survivors: one brother, Newman Lay of Houston, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. T. E. Taylor of Richton, Mrs. Henry Davis of Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs. Allie Gartman of Port Arthur, Tex., and Mrs. Glover Weir of Newton; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild; a son-in-law, E. R. Robinson of Newton; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lenell Davis of Meridian.
