Carl Crandall went to Sacketts Harbor last week to enlist in the 9th U. S. Regulars

Clayton and Carl Crandall and Arthur Salisbury, of the 9th infantry stationed at Sackets Harbor, were the guests of their parents over Sunday, They expect soon to leave for San Francisco and Manila.

CRANDALL-In Manila, Carl E. Crandall, aged 19 years, 3 months and 26 days.

The above was a son of Joseph K. and Ellen Crandall. He enlisted in the 9th Infantry, company A, and served a few days over one year. He was a noble young man and respected by all of his acquaintances.
