Adrianne was the daughter of Grant W. and May A. Hines Blair. She received a fine arts degree from The Cooper Union and worked in the publishing industry. She married Alfred H Palmer in 1958 and they had two children. After the children were grown, she went back to school and earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology from Adelphi University and her law degree from St. John's University. She worked first as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens, NY and later worked as Special Assistant Attorney General in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the NY Attorney Generals Office. After moving to Ohio with Richard Reach (married 1986), she worked as Assistant Attorney General for Ohio's Medicaid Fraud Control unit for 10 years. She was survived by two children and five grandchildren.
