THAYER - Mrs. Agnes B. Thayer, 87, 6304 N. 2nd St., Loves Park, died at 4:25 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 1974, in River Bluff Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 8, 1886, in Davis Junction, Illl., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Clothier. Lived all her life in the Rockford area. Married to Clarence B. Thayer in Rockford May 8, 1923. Employed as a registered nurse by Woodward Governor Co. and later by the Visiting Nurses Association for a number of years. Member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, and of Rockford Memorial Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association, also of Loves Park Lodge, Order of Eastern Star. Graduated from Rockford Memorial Hsopital School of Nursing. Survivors include: two sons, Dan B., and Bruce C., both of Loves Park; a brother, Stanley Clothier, Rockford; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 401 River Lane with Rev. Peder Carlson, pastor of Bethany Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cmetery. Friends may call at funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial in her name has been established at Bethany Presbyterian Church.
