Darrell Gene Holman, 62, of Alton, was born July 1, 1943, in Oregon County, MO, and died Dec. 6, 2005, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home; two sons, Brent and wife, Valerie of Thomasville, MO; and Billy and wife, Robin of Alton, MO; three grandchildren; two brothers, David and wife, Mary Ann of Alton, MO; Dwight and wife, Sue, of Alton, MO; one sister, Dana Rhea Stroud of North Little Rock, AR; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Elgan "Huse" Holman and Ruth Irene (Allen) Holman and a brother-in-law, Carlos Stroud.
The funeral service was Dec. 9, at Alton Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Trantham and Bro. Jim Thompson officiating. Interment in the Smith Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton.
