Norris, Clarence E, 90, St. Petersburg, FL, went to be with the Lord with loving family by his side on May 15, 2018. Clarence will be greatly missed by his sons Clarence “Tony” Anthony Norris (Star) and Tommy Norris (Dana), daughters, Cheryl Norris and Sharon Dunn (Greg); grandchildren Matthew Norris, Taylor Norris, Chelsea Norris, Joshua Dunn (Sarah) and Emily Dunn; great grandchildren Wyatt Norris, Kensley Norris and Cooper Dunn; “adopted” family members Cynthia Bishop and Katie Duncan.

Clarence was born in Parrish, FL. He served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War. Afterwards, he relocated to St. Petersburg where he raised his family. Clarence retired from Florida Power Corporation (now Duke Energy) after working for 35 years. Upon retirement, he relocated to Morriston, FL for 20 years and returned to St. Petersburg in 2012.

Clarence was an active and enthusiastic member of First Baptist Church, St. Petersburg, where he taught Sunday School and was a life deacon; Morriston Baptist Church, Morriston, FL, where he taught Sunday School and served on multiple committees. Upon returning to St. Petersburg, he became a member of Starkey Road Baptist Church, Seminole.

Visitation will be held May 18, 2018, 5-7 pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 7820 – 38th Ave N, St Petersburg. A graveside service will be held May 19, 2018, 10 am at Fortner Cemetery, Parrish, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters, 75 Mae Johnson Way, Andrews, NC 28901
