 It is with a heavy heart that the family share the passing of Lyndall Duggan, 68, on Feb­ruary 5, 2012, after a brief illness at her new home in Northwood Centre in Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Mur­rans) Purcell. She spent her life in Halifax, Dart­mouth, and for over 30 years in Prospect Village. Lyndall will be re­membered for her curiosity, her many valued friendships, and her quiet caring. This quote by Maya Angelou captures Lyndall's essence: 'I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.' She is sur­vived by her daughter, Leanne Dospi­tal, Vancouver, B.C.; son-in-law, Dave Jagpal, and grandson, Luka; and her son, Daniel Dospital, Greenwood; daughter-in-law, Melanie Dospital, and grandsons, Devon and David. She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Dospital; second husband, Bernard Duggan, and her brother, Carl Purcell. Lyndall will be sadly mis­sed by all the lives she touched. A spe­cial thank you to the caring staff at 2-Centre Northwood; sister-in-law, Wen­dy Purcell, and cousin, Lois Hethe­rington.
