Ray Hall Obituary
Mr. Ray Hall, 88, a resident of Mt. Olive, MS, passed away May 17, 2018, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson, MS. Services will be conducted from the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mount Olive, Mississippi, on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the service immediate following in the chapel. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in 1929 to Jack and Eula Eubanks Hall, he was a lifelong resident of Mt. Olive Mississippi. Ray was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served during the time of the Korean War. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion VFW. He was an active member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Hall is predeceased by his parents Jack and Eula Hall; sister, Eudell Chain, brothers, James Hall, Ralph Hall, and Jackie Hall.
He is survived by two loving sisters, Evelyn Allen (Toxie) of Mt. Olive, MS, and Elaine Sims of Brandon, MS and one brother Kenny Hall of Mt. Olive, MS. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, but one great nephew that he held very close to his heart, Lucas Cates of Brandon, MS.
