LaFAYETTE - Mr. Bobby Chappell, 74, of LaFayette died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at Dadeville Health Care in Dadeville.
Funeral services are planned for Thursday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. CDT at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett.
Mr. Chappell is survived by his wife, Louise Chappell of LaFayette; two daughters, Anita (Dean) Adcock of Dadeville and Tina (Chris) Baker of Lanett; four sisters, Lucille (E.T.) Shiftlett of Omaha, Ala., Sara Hanvey of Rock Mills, Betty Bailey of Roanoke and Jeanelle (Harlan) Sheppard of Rock Mills; one brother, Gene Chappell of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Danielle (Calvin) Williams, Andrea Etchison, Kayla Baker, Leesa Thornton and Troy Thornton; and one great-grandchild, Olivia Williams.
Born March 22, 1938 in Randolph County, Mr. Chappell was a retired electrician. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., prior to the service, at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette.
