Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Aram and Yvonne Benoit.
Robert was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was then a machinist for many years at Cumberland Engineering before retiring.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Luke Benoit, and brother-in-law, Elea Pambuku and his wife Eileen, and their sons, Elea and Steven Pambuku. He was the brother of the late Estelle Fuchs, and Jeanette Benoit.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Sunday, May 20 at 11am in the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence. The burial will be private.
