Mrs. Rhoda E. Ross, widow of the late Friend Ross, died of pneumonia on Monday, 10 p.m. March 11, 1902 at the home of her son, Frank Ross, 515 Price street. She was born in Michigan sixty-eight years ago.
Seven children survive her: Mrs. John La Lond, Rice Lake; Geo. Ross, Eau Claire; Chas. Ross, Lincoln, Nebraska; Fred Ross, Chippewa Falls; Mrs. John Sweet, Washington; Mrs. J.W. Sanburn, Rice Lake; Frank Ross, Eau Claire.
She was married to Friend Ross at White Water and forty years ago they moved to Eau Claire, where they have since resided.
Her husband, a veteran of the civil war died eleven years ago.
Two daughters and three sons are here to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother.
