Frances Marie “Fran” Hurst passed away on April 26, 2018, at the age of 72 years. She was born in Corsicana, Texas to Jahue and Leona Gandy Parsons on Feb. 22, 1946. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Renee Moore, of Fredericksburg, and Shari Marie Rannells and husband, Jim, of Fredericksburg; six grandchildren: Jody Geistweidt and husband, Kevin, James Moore and wife, Katrina, John Moore and wife, Tasha, Jared Moore, Shaun Medley and wife, Brienne, JoAnna Wright and husband, Kyle. Fran’s great-grandchildren include Holt and Tuckyr Geistweidt, Jozlynn, Sarah and Beverlly Medley, Keeli, Raychel, Gage and Ella Moore, Weston Moore, Kylee and the Twins (coming soon) Wright. She is also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Fran is preceded in death by her husband, Justin L. Hurst; daughter, Susan Loraine Davis; her parents, Jahue and Leona Parsons, six brothers and three sisters. Per her wishes, Fran was cremated. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 12, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home, with Chaplain Ann Stehling officiating.
