Lydia was born September 10, 1915, to Phillip and Louise Quenzer Wenz in Harriet, North Dakota. Her early childhood years were spent on a farm 12 miles west of American Falls, now the Pleasant Valley area. At a very young age she drove a team of horses to pull a weeder to keep weeds down. At night she would get on her horse and herd the cattle in, sometimes finding them and sometimes not.
She was a hard worker her whole life. Her children and grandchildren will remember her for her being a caring person and wonderful cook.
November 17, 1936, Lydia married William "Bill" Lehman Sr., of Aberdeen, Idaho. They farmed South of Aberdeen throughout their life.
Lydia was a lifelong member of the First Mennonite Church Aberdeen.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, husband William "Bill" Sr. Lehman, son Bill Lehman Jr., and great-grandson Derek Lehman.
