Mr. Burkett, a native of Coffee County, was a Sales Manager for Jackson Automotive where he had worked almost 40 years. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 7 years.

3 Sons: Lee (Patty) Burkett of St. Augustine, FL
David (Barbara) Burkett and Roger (Debra) Burkett, all of Stockbridge, GA.
4 Step-Children: Melissa Smith, Amanda Blanton, Penny DuPree and Jeff Brantley, all of Jennings, FL.
Siblings: Reba Renee Hulett and Wallace Burkett, both of Macon, GA,
Debbie Burkett and Dale Burkett, both of Douglas, GA.
15 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren.
Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of friends.
The funeral service was held on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home. The Entombment followed at a later date.
Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the Arrangements.
