Glen was born May 31, 1948 in Springfield, the son of Charles W. and Filipina J. Feleccia Davis.
Glen graduated from Lanphier High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sons, Patrick and Gregory Davis, both of Springfield; daughter, Monica Davis of Rochester; six grandchildren, Austin Landess, Morgan Davis, Riley Davis, Chloe Davis, Addison Davis, and Justin Davis; great-granddaughter, Maci Davis; sisters, Maria Davis of Springfield and Lola Speeks of Roodhouse; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation was accorded by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.
Family will host a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 12-3 p.m. at Sangamo Surf Club, 405 East Lake Shore Drive, Springfield. Chicago Cubs attire is encouraged.
Private interment will be held at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery with military honors provided by the Interveterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Glen may be made to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight, 57 Country Place, Springfield, IL 62703 or to Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Rd., Springfield, IL 62703.
