Philip L. "Pent" Lyons, 93, died on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln. He was born in Millinocket on October 8, 1924 to Alex and Ida (Powell) Lyons.

Philip was a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus. He retired from the Great Northern Paper Company in 1985 after 34 years as a machinist.

He is survived by his son Philip S, Lyons and his wife Celia of Buxton, Maine, his sister-in-law Joan Ippoliti and a special niece Dolores Archibald. He will be missed by friends Ernie and Rhonda Murphy and Charlie and Gloria Murphy as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Anne in 2007, his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

There will be no visiting hours. Graveside services will be announced. Gifts in Philip's memory may be made to the charity of your choice, Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.
