MELVIN RONALD GRAHAM
AGE 78 YEARS

Melvin “Pete” Ronald Graham, of Liberty, Pa., passed away peacefully in his home with family members by his side to join his dear friend and sister, Patti, on Monday, May 14, 2018. He was the loving husband of Wanda (Broughton) Graham. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 22, 2018.

Pete was born August 5, 1939, the son of the late Florence Onalea Graham and Melvin Gerald Pequignot.

It is impossible to put into a few words, the dash that comes between the date of his birth and the date of his death. Anyone who ever came into contact with him was drawn to him and became an instant known friend.

Pete was a retired truck driver from B&D Transfer, Liberty. He was an avid hunter and found great pride in being a lifetime member of Camp Flowing Well, Morris, Pa. This was his favorite place to be on Earth, at which he gave “my hut” a whole new description for the average tree stand.

The greatest joy in his life was his family, wife, Wanda, of Liberty; children, Cindy Graham, of Livonia, N.Y., the late William Graham, Robert Graham, of Covington, Rick Graham, of Liberty, Melvin Graham Jr., of Covington and Gina (Randy) Waltz, of Trout Run; five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Bill (Jan) Pequignot, of Lake Wales, Fla., Shirley Clark, of Batavia, N.Y., the late Patti (Dale) Bohart, Donna Taylor, of Wellsboro, Judy Krause, of Blossburg, Barb (Joe) Williams, of Wellsboro and Eddie (Jane) Pequignot, of Liberty.

A private burial will follow services in Salem St. Paul’s Cemetery, Liberty.
